SafePal Data Breach Hits Tens of Thousands of Customers

SafePal disclosed a data breach affecting 39,798 customers in which order information (names, emails, shipping addresses, phone numbers, and purchase details) was exposed after a flaw in an order-tracking plug-in allowed unauthorized access. The vendor says wallet credentials and payment/card data were not involved, has remediated the issue, taken down fraudulent sites, and warned customers to expect phishing, refund scams, and impersonation attempts while providing reporting channels and security guidance.
