FBI Calls for Help to Track Steam Malware Campaign

The FBI issued a public notice asking Steam users to report if they downloaded malicious games (including BlockBlasters, Chemia, Dashverse/DashFPS, Lampy, Lunara, PirateFi, and Tokenova) tied to a malware campaign active from May 2024 to January 2026; the campaign appears to involve infostealers targeting credentials and crypto/banking information, and victims are encouraged to complete a questionnaire to support the investigation.
