Sekoia.io conducted proactive hunting for typosquatted domains targeting the Paris 2024 Olympics during June–August 2024, using DNSTwist and SSL certificate monitoring to identify 650+ suspicious registrations; most aimed at **ticketing scams** or impersonated **French government “Pass Jeux”** and official Olympic/IOC sites, while a few served protest messaging; telemetry showed few hits and no major compromises, so the findings primarily supply potential IoCs and illustrate opportunistic cybercrime around high-profile events.
