Arkana Ransomware Attack on WideOpenWest: What You Need to Know

Arkana, an emergent ransomware group, allegedly breached ISP WideOpenWest (WOW!), claiming access to over 403,000 customer records, control of critical backend systems (AppianCloud, Symphonica) with the ability to push malware and manipulate transactions, exfiltration of sensitive PII (SSNs, credit card data), and public doxxing of senior executives as part of a ransom/sell/leak extortion model.
