Italy and Germany Under DDoS Assault: Weekly DDoS Threat Intelligence Analysis

SOCRadar observed a coordinated, multi‑vector DDoS campaign (Feb 2–8, 2026) by NoName057(16) using the DDoSia framework that launched 8,101 recorded attacks against 160 unique domains/186 IPs—primarily targeting Italian and German government services, Olympic organizations, and critical infrastructure—using HTTP and TCP floods (including nginx_loris, HTTP/2/3) with heavy concentration on port 443; the report includes operational details, target lists, and concrete mitigation recommendations (cloud DDoS protection, WAF tuning, rate limiting, incident response).
