Halcyon Launches First-Ever Ransomware Threat Intelligence Bounty Program

Halcyon announced the TRIP (Threat Research Incentive Program), committing $250,000 to reward independent researchers and ransomware hunters for responsibly disclosing ransomware intelligence. The program uses a four-tier payout structure (up to $10,000/$5,000/$3,000/$1,000) for contributions ranging from novel group/RaaS details to IOCs, requires vetting and OFAC exclusions, and aims to accelerate anti-ransomware capabilities by incentivizing and recognizing technical research.
