**Executive summary:** This report demonstrates a practical physical-security exploit against low-cost infrared ‘no-touch’ exit sensors: by analyzing the sensor’s carrier and timing characteristics the author built a portable IR torch that mimics a reflection and can remotely trigger the relay to open doors, showing proof-of-concept range, prototype design, and mitigation guidance (treat these sensors as convenience features, not security controls).
