Runtime Protection for K8s Workloads

Aqua outlines a Kubernetes-native security approach that combines Kubernetes Security Posture Management (KSPM) with a new agentless runtime protection model. By using validating and mutating admission controller webhooks, Aqua’s Kube Enforcer can inject a non-privileged Pod Enforcer sidecar at pod deployment time to provide runtime controls—such as behavioral, network, and drift prevention—without requiring privileged node-level agents, enabling easier deployment and improved DevOps/SecOps integration.
