Rubrik + RL: Bring Threat Intelligence and Detection to Backups

Rubrik has integrated ReversingLabs' ransomware feed into its Threat Monitoring and Threat Hunting to scan backup snapshots in place for file hashes, YARA rules, and other IoCs (including C2 and delivery URLs), enabling fast, stage-aware detection and retroactive scanning across snapshot histories; the announcement frames this capability against a backdrop of active exploitation of backup products (multiple high-severity CVEs), ransomware groups (e.g., Akira, Fog) targeting backups, and industry statistics showing backups are now a primary attack vector.
