Leveraging Spectra Assure and EDR to Mitigate Third-Party Software Risk

This report describes using ReversingLabs Spectra Assure to assess third-party software (Postman) without source code, generate SBOM/SaaSBOM, and flag risks related to raw GitHub file references and Belarus (.by) TLD connections; it then explains configuring and testing compensating controls in CrowdStrike Falcon (allow-and-alert for raw.githubusercontent.com, block .by) so security teams can approve deployment while documenting due diligence and minimizing risk.
