Accelerating adoption of AI for cybersecurity at DEF CON 33

At DEF CON 33, Google and Airbus hosted the GenSec Capture the Flag to showcase how AI can accelerate cybersecurity workflows, with nearly 500 participants completing introductory challenges and 85% reporting it was useful. The event also offered optional access to Sec-Gemini, Google’s experimental cybersecurity AI, which 77% of respondents found very or extremely helpful, and organizers plan to incorporate community feedback into future iterations and share further research.
