Scaling Rust Adoption Through Training

Google’s Android team outlines its initiative to scale Rust adoption by building a comprehensive, hands-on training program (Rust Fundamentals plus deep dives for Android, bare-metal, and concurrency), leveraging mdBook tooling, multilingual translations, and dedicated instructors; over 500 engineers completed the course with high satisfaction and immediate productivity gains, and the team plans to refine topics, add exercises and speaker notes, and expand deep dives, with the full curriculum publicly available at https://google.github.io/comprehensive-rust/.
