Report: An active SEO poisoning campaign has hijacked many reputable .edu, .gov and other high-profile sites (often via non-standard ports) to redirect search queries for software purchases to fake online stores. The attackers operate dozens of disposable domains and multi-language spam SEO to appear on first-page Google results, enabling widespread consumer fraud and potential further distribution of malicious content.
