Election 2020-themed Scams and Threats

Zscaler ThreatLabZ observed and analyzed election-themed malicious activity where attackers used malicious PDFs (posing as voter registration forms) to deliver obfuscated shellcode and malware, malicious JavaScript redirectors and scam domains (typo-squats, NRDs) to serve trojans/adware/APKs and tech-support/phishing scams, and fake polls/merchandise pages to mislead users; the report includes code-level analysis, sandbox detection results, domain WHOIS examples, ND R trends, and user mitigation recommendations.
