Elaborate Scam For Mother's Day

**Executive summary:** A US college website was hacked to host a hidden WordPress blog (/gd) filled with keyword-stuffed Mother's Day pages that appear in search results; when visitors arrive via Google results they are transparently redirected through intermediary domains (trraf.com, rosecrane.com) and the BidSystem ad network to advertised sites, enabling ad-click fraud and monetization of illegitimate traffic. The reporter notified the webmaster and the fake blog was taken down.
