Preparations for a Spam Campaign

This report describes how spammers prepare and execute large-scale spam/scam campaigns by compromising Joomla and WordPress sites, placing hidden redirection pages (commonly in /tmp or plugin/theme folders), evading security scanners via IP/cookie/JS/Flash checks and staged redirects, and ultimately sending victims to fraudulent storefronts or work‑from‑home scams; several example compromised URLs and final landing pages are provided.
