The report forecasts major cybercrime trends for 2019, predicting growth in cryptomining and wallet-stealing malware (including clipboard hijackers), increased use of SSL/TLS to deliver phishing and malware, expanding enterprise impact from insecure IoT devices, a rise in software supply-chain attacks (with NotPetya cited as an example), and greater targeting of cloud service providers and misconfigurations leading to data exposure.
