Soulmate: A Dating App That Spies On You

Zscaler ThreatLabZ discovered 'Soulmate', an Android spyware app on Google Play posing as a dating app that requests excessive permissions and implements keylogging, call recording, SMS interception, contact theft, location tracing, clipboard capture, and data exfiltration to a command-and-control server. The report documents the package name (com.kikde.soulmate), file hash, suspicious background services and broadcast receivers, related apps and developer infrastructure (KikDe / Perfekt), and notes Google removed the app after notification.
