Troops and veterans’ personal information leaked in CPAP Medical data breach

In December 2024 CPAP Medical Supplies & Services experienced an unauthorized network intrusion (Dec 13–21, 2024) that exposed the personal and health information of over 90,000 patients—predominantly military members, veterans, and their families. Compromised data included full names, birth dates, Social Security numbers, health insurance details, medical history, and treatment plans; the breach went undiscovered until late June 2025 and affected parties were later offered credit monitoring and identity theft protection.
