The Conduent breach; from 10 million to 25 million (and counting)

Conduent, a major provider of state benefits and corporate back‑office services, suffered a ransomware-linked breach reportedly claimed by the SafePay gang; attackers spent months in the environment and exfiltrated ~8 TB of data, with disclosures now indicating more than 25 million U.S. individuals affected.
