Law enforcement reels in phishing-as-a-service whopper

Law enforcement from 19 countries, led by the UK Metropolitan Police and Europol, disrupted LabHost — a prominent phishing-as-a-service platform — shutting down its infrastructure and arresting 37 suspects. LabHost, active since 2021, reportedly had ~2,000 users, created over 40,000 fraudulent sites, captured two-factor codes, and is linked to hundreds of thousands of compromised cards, PINs, and passwords globally; authorities have seized data and are contacting victims while warning of potential copycat scams.
