Update Chrome now: 20 security fixes just landed

Google released Chrome updates (142.0.7444.59/.60) addressing 20 security flaws—mostly in the V8 JavaScript engine—including high-severity CVE-2025-12428 (type confusion) and critical CVE-2025-12036 (remote code execution). The advisory warns that these flaws could enable data theft, malware installation, or full system compromise and urges immediate updating of Chrome (and other Chromium-based browsers) to mitigate exposure.
