Affirm says Evolve Bank data breach also compromised some of its customers

Affirm and several fintech customers were impacted after a ransomware incident and data breach at Evolve Bank & Trust resulted in exfiltration and public disclosure of customer personal and financial data shared with partner companies; reported exposed information includes full names, addresses, Social Security numbers, account numbers and deposit balances. Affected vendors have notified customers and recommend protective steps such as changing passwords, enabling 2FA, and monitoring for phishing and identity theft.
