Malwarebytes Premium Security earns “Product of the Year” from AVLab

AVLab Cybersecurity Foundation’s March 2024 “Advanced In-The-Wild Malware Test” awarded Malwarebytes Premium Security “Product of the Year” and “Top Remediation Time” after it detected 459/459 malware samples with a 20-second remediation time (faster than the industry average), while ThreatDown also blocked 100% with a 17-second remediation. The report summarizes AVLab’s methodology—collecting active malware from malicious URLs, executing via Firefox to simulate real-world delivery (including IM platforms like Discord and Telegram), and measuring incident recovery time—and notes that Bitdefender, ESET, and Panda did not achieve 100% blocking.
