Kaiser health insurance leaked patient data to advertisers

Kaiser Permanente discovered that tracking pixels and other online technologies on its websites and mobile apps transmitted personal information to third-party advertising vendors (including Google, Microsoft, and X), affecting approximately 13.4 million current and former members; exposed data reportedly includes member names, IP addresses, account sign-in indicators, site navigation and interaction details, and health search terms, and Kaiser has removed the tracking code and plans to notify affected individuals.
