BayMark Health Services sends breach notifications after ransomware attack

BayMark Health Services disclosed an incident in which an unauthorized party accessed and exfiltrated patient records between September 24 and October 14, 2024, disrupting IT operations; the RansomHub ransomware group is reported to have posted 1.5 TB of sensitive patient data (including SSNs, driver’s license numbers, treatment and insurance information) on a leak site, and the published status indicates BayMark did not pay the ransom.
