Heights Finance data breach: What customers need to know

Heights Finance disclosed that an unauthorized party accessed a third-party cloud platform used to store customer records, potentially exposing highly sensitive PII and financial data for as many as 734,828 individuals across Heights Finance and related CURO brands; exposed fields may include names, contact details, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, bank account and routing numbers. The notice advises people to follow company instructions, enroll in offered protection services if notified, and be vigilant for identity theft, financial fraud, and targeted phishing.
