Dozens of Google products targeted by scammers via malicious search ads

This report documents an active malvertising campaign that impersonated Google products using malicious search ads and abused Looker Studio to present a fake Google homepage; clicking the image launched Azure-hosted tech-support scam/browser-lock pages. The attackers used dynamic keyword insertion, compromised or unverified advertiser accounts, and rotating cloud-hosted URLs to evade detection; the report includes advertiser IDs and Looker Studio report URLs as IOCs and notes that Malwarebytes Browser Guard was already blocking the attack.
