Group-IB analyzed Chinese-language dark web forums and Telegram channels where brokers advertise high-volume "lead data" purportedly from organizations worldwide; validation of multiple samples shows the datasets are largely composites of prior public leaks and generated entries rather than new breach evidence. The report profiles five active sources, documents recurring messaging structures and keywords, traces upstream leak sources (e.g., Facebook 2021, Eatigo 2020, Truecaller 2022), and provides indicators and recommendations for organizations to validate claims and avoid wasting resources on low-credibility data.
