Breaking down a a high-severity vulnerability in Kubernetes.

Akamai researcher Tomer Peled disclosed a high-severity Kubernetes vulnerability titled “What a Cluster: Local Volumes Vulnerability in Kubernetes,” which can enable remote code execution with system privileges on all Windows endpoints in a Kubernetes cluster; the analysis also identified two additional vulnerabilities arising from the same root cause (insecure function calls and lack of input sanitization).
