Android users are being targeted by an SMS-worm that impersonates a COVID-19 Vaccination Registration app to harvest contacts, send malicious SMS links to spread itself, collect device and network information, and potentially perform unauthorized activities such as data deletion and carrier billing fraud; the report provides a SHA256 hash, package name, permissions, behavior analysis, and IoCs with mitigation recommendations.
