Hardening Guidance To Strengthen Networks: Security Tips

A coalition of international cyber agencies (CISA, NSA, FBI, ASD, ACSC, and partners) issued hardening guidance to strengthen communications infrastructure against China‑affiliated cyber espionage. The guidance emphasizes improving network visibility, centralized and secure configuration management, monitoring of account activity and logs, isolating out‑of‑band management networks, network segmentation and ACLs, securing VPN gateways, and implementing phishing‑resistant MFA and strong password controls to mitigate exploitation of known telecommunications vulnerabilities.
