Data Centers facing The risk of cyberattacks

Cyble Research Labs found over 20,000 internet-exposed DCIM and data-center devices (DCIM applications, cooling controllers, rack monitors, UPS, transfer switches) frequently secured with default credentials or outdated software. The report demonstrates how unauthorized access to these web consoles can reveal sensitive configuration and credentials, alter temperature/power settings, upload firmware or backups, and potentially cause outages, equipment damage, data loss, or enable follow-on attacks; it includes impact analysis, remediation recommendations, and mapped MITRE ATT&CK techniques.
