CyberThreats Mushrooming over Global Nuclear Facilities

Cyble Research & Intelligence Labs reports a series of dark web and cybercrime-forum leaks since February 2022 targeting organizations in the nuclear sector across multiple countries (including Russia, Taiwan, Brazil, Indonesia, Iran, Thailand, India, and South Africa). Leaked material includes SQL/SMB dumps, source code, internal and operational plans, credentials (VPN/RDP/admin), PII, supply-chain documents, blueprints, and system-specific details that increase the risk of targeted cyber operations against IT/OT assets; the report maps incidents, shows timelines/screenshots, assesses impact, and recommends measures such as patching, access controls, SBOMs, monitoring, MFA, and security training.
