Wattpad Data Breach: 270M User Records Leaked

Cyble reports that Wattpad was breached in June 2020, resulting in approximately 120 GB (around 270 million) of user records — including login credentials, full names, contact numbers and dates of birth — being posted on a hacking forum and previously offered for sale for roughly 10 BTC; Cyble verified sample records and continues to investigate. The advisory urges users to enable MFA, use strong passwords, monitor financial transactions, keep devices updated, and use reputable security software.
