Cyble researchers observed a May 2020 data breach impacting Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) in which an unknown actor(s) publicly leaked internal documents, employee email accounts and passwords, customer records, and shipping invoices; the actor(s) claim a politically motivated hacktivist intent (aliases 'specter05'/'R3dr0x'), though technical attribution is unconfirmed. The report highlights exposure of sensitive corporate and potentially defence-related information and recommends basic hygiene measures (strong passwords, MFA, monitoring) for mitigation.
