Cyble researchers identified and indexed a dataset allegedly containing over 27.6 million Chinese citizens' personal identifiable information (names, phone numbers, full home addresses, sex, registration dates and other sensitive fields). The report indicates the records appear to originate from December 2019 registrations and may have been extracted from a Chinese e-commerce site; the actor/source has not been publicly attributed. Cyble made the data searchable on AmiBreached and offers guidance to affected individuals to monitor accounts, enable MFA, use strong passwords, and register for breach notification.
