2.3M USA Doctor Records Leaked On Dark Web

Cyble researchers identified two threat actors who publicly leaked 2,267,453 records of US medical professionals on the dark web, including sensitive fields such as National Provider Identifier (NPI), full name, residential and practice addresses, contact numbers, license numbers, and emails; the dataset spans multiple specialties (including over 11,400 chiropractors) and was shared for free. Cyble highlights privacy and fraud risks and recommends standard mitigations (strong passwords, multi-factor authentication, monitoring financial activity, up-to-date software, and security tools).
