BSOD Scams Target Users On Fake Adult Sites

Cyble Research discovered a drive-by campaign hosted on a fake adult site that automatically downloads a 32-bit .NET executable disguised with a VLC icon; when run it displays a fake Blue Screen of Death, hides the cursor, loops an audio scare message directing victims to call a scam phone number, and uses timestomp to hinder analysis. The report provides file hashes, malicious URLs, behavioral details, and mitigation recommendations.
