Google is rolling out Play Services v25.14 that introduces an auto-restart feature, rebooting Android devices after three consecutive days of being locked to enhance data security, alongside minor UI updates, improved car/watch connectivity, and Quick Share previews. Similar to iOS 18.1’s Inactivity Reboot, the change may impede law-enforcement access to unattended devices and will deploy gradually via a silent update.
