Cyble's 2025 threat landscape reports record growth in ransomware and supply-chain attacks: ransomware incidents rose 52% to 6,604 and supply-chain incidents rose 93% to 297. Qilin emerged as a dominant ransomware actor while dozens of new groups and hundreds of new strains appeared; attackers increasingly abused upstream services and SaaS trust relationships to scale impacts across industries—particularly IT/Technology—and the U.S. was the most targeted country.
