One Operator, 373,000 Dark Web Sites, and a Criminal Business Built on Selling Nothing

German-led Operation Alice dismantled a massive fraudulent dark web network run by a single operator who managed over 373,000 onion domains and used automated infrastructure to advertise nonexistent child sexual abuse material and cybercrime-as-a-service offerings; approximately 10,000 buyers paid about €345,000 before receiving nothing, investigators identified 440 customers, seized 105 servers and other devices, and ongoing investigations target more than 100 individuals.
