TeamViewer Attributes Corporate Network Breach to APT29 aka Midnight Blizzard

TeamViewer confirmed a June 26, 2024 security breach of its corporate IT environment attributed to APT29 (Midnight Blizzard). The company says the attacker used employee account credentials to access internal systems, that the intrusion was contained within a segmented corporate IT environment (separate from product and customer systems), and there is currently no evidence the product or customer data were compromised; investigations and mitigation actions are ongoing.
