Nintendo Confirms Employee Data Exposed in TinyPulse Cyberattack

Nintendo of America confirmed that employee survey data held by third-party TinyPulse was exposed after a cyberattack; threat actor Shadowbyt3$ claims to have stolen nearly 1GB of data including names, emails, bank statements and W-9s and demanded $2 million, while Nintendo says its internal systems were not compromised and the impact is limited to a small subset of employees and older survey content.
