Lenovo Joins Secure by Design Pledge, Enhancing Cybersecurity Standards

Lenovo announced it has joined CISA’s Secure by Design pledge, aligning with a cohort of major technology and cybersecurity companies to advance security practices across software and enterprise services. The pledge focuses on areas such as MFA adoption, default password controls, vulnerability reduction and patching, vulnerability disclosure policies and CVE transparency, evidence of intrusion, and robust supply chain security, with an emphasis on public progress reporting and knowledge sharing. Lenovo highlights alignment with its existing SDL, PSIRT, and global supply chain measures, positioning the move as part of a broader, transparent industry effort to raise security standards.
