Crimson Collective Claims Breach of U.S. Fiber Broadband Provider Brightspeed

Crimson Collective claims to have obtained and released a sample of more than 1 million Brightspeed residential customer records containing names, emails, phone numbers, service and billing addresses, account and payment history (with masked card digits), network/service metadata, and appointment/order records; Brightspeed is reportedly investigating the cybersecurity event while the actor says the data enables large-scale phishing and targeted attacks.
