Qilin Remains Top Ransomware Group as Attacks Rise

Cyble’s July 2025 ransomware roundup shows ransomware incidents rising to 423 victims for the month, with Qilin claiming 73 victims and the U.S. the most targeted country; the report highlights attacks on critical infrastructure and the software supply chain, identifies exploited CVEs (including Citrix NetScaler and multiple Microsoft SharePoint flaws), and documents nearly 40 new ransomware variants and several emerging ransomware groups.
