Cybercriminals Prepare Fake Domains Ahead of Amazon Prime Day

Researchers observed a surge of Amazon-branded phishing activity ahead of Amazon Prime Day, including the registration of over 1,230 suspicious domains (about 85% flagged malicious), distribution of deceptive emails and malicious attachments purporting payment failures, and fraudulent login/payment pages aimed at stealing credentials and financial data; the report lists example malicious domains and provides consumer guidance to detect and avoid these scams.
