CrowdStrike and Intel Partner with MITRE Center for Threat-Informed Defense in PC Hardware-Enabled Defense Project

MITRE’s Security Stack Mappings — Hardware-Enabled Defense project, with CrowdStrike and Intel as key partners, maps Intel vPro security features and the CrowdStrike Falcon platform (notably Intel TDT–accelerated memory scanning) to MITRE ATT&CK techniques, producing 230+ mappings and coverage across 90+ TTPs. The findings show how modern enterprise PC hardware, when integrated with OS and security tools, can deliver earlier, real-time threat detection with minimal performance impact and inform decisions such as Windows 11 migration and PC refresh cycles.
