Solar Group Eliminates Complexity and Speeds Response Time with the CrowdStrike Falcon Platform

This document is a case study on Solar Group’s adoption of CrowdStrike Falcon Insight XDR and Identity Protection following a multi-vendor PoC, culminating in a full deployment by February 2024. The switch resulted in fewer false positives (from 8–18 to ~3 cases per month), reduced investigation workload (from 2.5 FTEs to 0.5), and projected cost savings of 40% in year one and 72% thereafter. Solar also leveraged the platform to support Zero Trust and identity segmentation, achieved smoother integrations, and reported an immediate improvement in its NIST score.
